Hey Gang :

Its Mr George from the Lakenheath Youth Center. Most often when there is a Home sporting event. Your very likely have seen me taking photos especially for Sports . This is my 9th season working for Youth Programs. So I feel very hubled to hopefully have made a difference with just a few of them. Anyway so much about me. This is really about those dedicated kids, who get up on a grey Saturday morning to go represent their school .

For that I hold them in the highest of Esteem. Lets face it there are other things that they could be doing !! This is a small galley of the images that I shot. I will also put them on my FAcebook sports page

Smooth Jazz..An aquired taste ?

I want to start this post. By asking you . Do you think Smooth Jazz is a musical taste that has to be learned ? Or is it just something you like or you don,t !!!

I have to say I was a kid that was influenced by the jazz hat my Dad listened too. Although it was much more blues related it had a purpose !!

I wasn’t until I joined the Air Force, and after being stationed in San Antonio TX. One of the smooth jazz capitals of the World. My first concert, it was no other than Bony James.

I had never been in one place, where everyone just jammed to the sweetest music I had ever heard .

SKY.FM plays the best smooth jazz 24/7

Do you enjoy walking thru a woods and taking your camera with you ? I most certainly do, because that is when I seem to capture my most tranquil moments.

I’m a Outdoor photographer, but Nature photography is the foundation of my photography. I enjoy shooting moments, that can literally take the viewer to another place. Even if its,

only for a few moments. Having been a Air Force Medic for 20 + years. I love seeing the reaction on a patient’s face when they see a piece of photo-art that touches their inner soul.

As your walking around today . I hope camera in hand. Think of someone who’s day could be brightened by a print of your photo art.

I started blogging about photography.Gradually I learned that I could share a variety of things using it . Quite often I used to think that I had to keep it all photography.

But the most fun I usually have when I blog about my Grand daughter . That put me in touch with so many people , who had become a grand parent .

Blogging now is part of my morning as much as my initial cup of tea/coffee. Blogging is just such a beautiful way to share with people , and or share one’s thoughts about ,

something that they had shared . Simply put blogging is a good thing give it a go !!!

Young kids & The Arts

Our youth are struggling mainly because of the lack of things to keep them other wise engaged. Art to me is like breathing, youmust have it in your life to make your life feel worth something.

Its all about being able to express one’s self. So what about our kids. We all know that with current and pending budget cuts, The arts will surely be cut or sliced to bits .

Basically I want to help youths stay involved with the Arts. Especially the youths in my area. But I’m not sure where to start , to be able to help !!

Morning Shutterbugs !!

How many of you have stressful jobs ? No doubt most of us do . When it comes to relaxing what do you usually do ? Depending on your level of photography, I hope once in a while you actually get out and do some personal,

photo work. If your not ,you should be !! When you come up with a personal project. The body seems to go into a different mode.I’m not sure if it is down to the fact, you have no one looking over your shoulder telling you what to do ,or

when to do it!

When you go for a walk in your local woods, or perhaps a local park do you take y0ur camera with you ?

Taking your camera on a walk with you , turns it into a discovery adventure !!!

Try it next time you go for a walk.. Please let me now if in fact photography is your medicine !!

You did not mis-read the title. Yes there is home made Mexican food just outside of RAF Lakenheath. Hello my name is William . My wife Angie is the Owner of AJCantina
